Political Campaigner Returns

Part XX of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 requires all registered political campaigners to lodge financial disclosure returns on an annual basis.

These returns set out for that financial year:

  • the total value of receipts
  • the details of amounts received that are more than the disclosure threshold
  • the total value of payments
  • the total value of debts as at 30 June
  • the details of debts outstanding as at 30 June that total more than the disclosure threshold
  • the total amount of electoral expenditure incurred
  • the details of any discretionary benefits received from the Commonwealth, State or Territory

Political Campaigners were first required to lodge returns for the 2018-19 financial year and all lodged returns are listed.

Returns can be filtered and sorted based on:

  • Financial year
  • Political campaigner name
  • Total receipts
  • Total payments
  • Total debts
  • Discretionary benefits
  • Electoral expenditure

Individual returns can be accessed by clicking on the name of the political campaigner.

All detailed receipts disclosed on political party, political campaigner and associated entity returns are listed on the Detailed Receipts page.

All data contained in the table can also be exported to Excel. The export will reflect any sorting and filtering applied to the list.
